The Mahanagar Co-op.Bank Ltd. was established by the people from the Ahmednagar District in the name of “Ahmednagar Sahakari Bank Ltd., Mumbai” on 6th October 1973. Solicitor Shri. G.S. Shelke and his colleagues were the motivating force behind the establishment of this bank. Mr. Gulabrao Sakharam Shelke became its first Chairman. |
